Lane-hopping traffic dodger Crossy Road has been updated with 16 new characters and MFi controller support.

As mentioned last week, these new characters have been added in preparation for Australia Day on January 26th - the game's creators are Australian, you see.

As such, these new playable characters include a kangaroo, platypus, echidna, kookaburra, wombat, koala, dingo, cockatoo, and an emu. The rest are mysteries you'll have to discover (unless you read our guide).

The MFi controller support speaks for itself. If you have a controller made for iOS (hence, MFi) then it'll now work with Crossy Road.

Not that Crossy Road ever needed controller support, but hey, it's always good to have the option.

You can download Crossy Road for free on the App Store [download], Google Play [download], and the Amazon App Store [download]. The update is currently only available on iOS, though.
App Advice

And oh, it's perfectly magnificent that you're going to marry Gilbert. Roy Gardner wouldn't have done at all, at all. I can see that now, though I was horribly disappointed at the time. You know, Anne, you did treat Roy very badly."
2、
SwapQuest was a great mobile game when it came out on iOS and Android last year. Using an interesting concept of tile-swapping, it mixed RPG elements and puzzles in a polished package.

The idea is that you need to escort your character throughout levels. In order to do this you swap tiles so that they form a path.

And while it starts simple, it soon expands with plenty of new elements that adds a little bit of complexity.

On Playstation Vita, you'll fin plenty of new content with three new levels, a new boss fight and a new character class: The Tinkerer.

You'll be able to control the game via touch or with physical buttons.

The game's out now on iOS and Android and will be out on Playstation Vita on February 23rd.
