It's time for our #gameoftheday. It's an initiative where we tell you about an awesome game, you go and download it and have fun, and everyone feels like they've achieved something. Sounds pretty awesome, right? Well, it IS awesome, which is why we keep doing it.

Today's choice is genre smash-up Twinfold. Click here and you'll be taken to our #gameoftheday hub, where you can see all of the many, many games that have been awarded this prestigious title. They're all absolutely banging, because that's literally the point of a #gameoftheday.

Got your own suggestions for a game that deserves to be highlighted here? Then make sure you let us know in the comments section at the bottom of the article.TwinfoldThis one's a mashing together of a whole bunch of ideas from other games and genres. You've got sliding blocks, you've got roguelike elements, and you've got a load more stuff going on too. Somehow though, it manages to keep its vast array of ideas in check where others have failed.

You're trawling through tiny dungeons to get loot, but there are monsters and traps to avoid as well. And you can push your luck, sliding blocks with your moves to make the loot worth even more. But then you're also more likely to die, which is a right kicker. Throw in randomly generated levels to keep you on your toes, and you're left with a game that's likely to hang around on your homescreen for a good long while.
These unlimited points also help them unlock the advanced levels n the Gameplay and experience them initially. We have also resolved the issues by integrating a few policies in the game; one is the no-ad policy under which the modified version itself blocks and removes all the advertisements appearing in the Gameplay. This version also doesn’t require users to root it from other sources. It enables the antiban and antivirus properties in the arrangement, ensuring a safe and secure gaming environment for device security users.
"Those Booths are all a mite queer," said Captain Jim. "Billy seemed the sanest of the lot till he got married and then this queer jealous streak cropped out in him. His brother Daniel, now, was always odd."

If you managed to get it in time, the emulator will still work. If you didn't: sucks to be you.
Original story follows…

A cheeky developer named Kyle Hankinson has snuck a retro game emulator onto the iOS App Store, just before Apple froze the App Store to any changes for the Christmas break.

The app's called Floppy Cloud and it's a £1.49 / $1.99 universal app that purports to manage your documents. Only, if you manage a .NES or .SMC file it will suddenly morph into an emulator and let you play Super Mario World on your tablet.

You can find Floppy Cloud on the App Store.

The app's got save states, a few settings for performance tweaks, and - best of all - MFi controller support. Sounds like you're going to need our guide on the best MFi joypads.

We've got a full guide to using the emulator here, and it also includes some advice on backing the app up so you have it safe in the likely case that Apple pulls it from the App Store when it gets back to work (if not sooner).
Touch Arcade

Blue Wizard Digital has put together a teaser trailer for their upcoming slash-em-up Slayaway Camp and also released some new game details.

It's predictably gross - in its own bloody, blocky way - but has a fantastic soundtrack and a glorious looking 80's filter which even puts Hotline Miami to shame.

Jason Kapalka, co-founder of Popcap says he 'felt very limited ... as we couldn't have truly graphic violence in something like Bejeweled.''With this game, I've finally been able to bring extreme horror to the puzzle genre.'

Slayaway Camp puts you in control of a series of killers and the goal is to slay and eliminate all teenagers in each level by completing logic puzzles

To beat a level, teens must be lured into grisly traps, such as spike pits, bonfires, and even a woodchipper. Yikes.

The game takes place at a youth camp built on a Native burial ground and the kids start pulling pranks on one another. One, of course, goes horribly wrong, leaving the victimised camper thirsting for vengeance.

You can see the teaser trailer below. It's definitely worth a peek as it's quite swish.

Slayaway Camp will hit both iOS and Android this summer.

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is one of those games that you don't think will work, but is actually amazing. Lucky us, the DLC's on its way pretty soon too.

Over the weekend, a new patch dropped on the game which, at the moment, doesn't look like it's done much. However, it could have been preparatory as on Reddit, user ReedyBuilder pointed out that their Season Pass receipt shows the first part of the DLC could come out as early as tomorrow.

The picture also shows the second part of the DLC as launching on January 16th 2018. Bear in mind none of this has been confirmed by Nintendo or Ubisoft, so do take all information with a pinch of salt to avoid disappointment.

We were very impressed with the game, giving it a Gold Award in its review and I admit it's an addictive tactical adventure with a heck of a lot of charm. Are you planning to get the Season Pass? Let us know in the comments below.

Source: Reddit
